Technologies Used

Motion Capture
Motion capture (also known as Mo-cap) is a brand new technology used in animation. It requires actors to place tiny pieces of equipment on their bodies and a camera follows the equipment and tracks its every move. In Guardians, actors Bradley Cooper used mo-cap as they weren't in the film but their voices where and the mo-cap helped make the CGI of their characters move realistically and smoothly. Example of when Cooper used mo-cap is shown in the scene where Rocket shows that Cooper had to shout like that so his character looks realistic.
